'Devious Maids': Season 5 Renewed?; Peri Wesmore's case SOLVED

Good news fans, “Devious Maids” Season 4 is highly likely to continue for season 5. Aside from that, Lifetime finally released the official plot description of the finale episode, while the penultimate episode is recapped here for those who missed it.

“Devious Maids” Season 4 is coming to an end, and fans are eager to know if the show will continue for season 5. According to The Daily Mention, with is steady high ratings and viewers the odds of renewal are likely. However, Lifetime is yet to announce officially if they will pick up the Marc Cherry-created series or not.

As for the official plot synopsis of the finale episode (episode 10), Spoilers Guide notes,

Zoila Diaz (Judy Reyes) discovers a huge secret that finally helps Rosie Falta (Dania Ramirez) get to the truth about Peri Westmore’s (Mariana Klaveno) murder. Carmen Luna (Roselyn Sanchez) and Daniela ‘Dani’ Mercado (Sol Rodriguez) find themselves in a dangerous situation. Genevieve Delatour (Susan Lucci) makes a new friend and Marisol Suarez (Ana Ortiz) attempts to get closure with Peter Hudson (James Denton). Adrian Powell (Tom Irwin) has big news to share, bringing Evelyn Powell (Rebecca Wisocky) one step closer to finalizing the divorce she’s always wanted.

For a quick recap of the penultimate episode (episode 9) “Much Ado About Buffing”, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Marisol found out a secret about Genevieve’s past; Zoila struggled to balance her love life and to deal with her new boss at work; Danni warmed up to Carmen, and Spence Westmore (Grant Show) helped Rosie when Miguel Falta (Alejandro Vera) began acting out.

“Devious Maids” Season 4 Episode 10 is entitled as “Grime and Punishment.” The upcoming and final episode is scheduled to air on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on Lifetime.

“Devious Maids” is an American television comedy-drama series created by Marc Cherry. The storyline is based on a telenovela entitled “Elias son… la Alegria del Hogar”.
