Lead actor Tom Mison, who plays the role of Ichabod Crane spoke to E! Online about his character’s new job after co-star Nicole Beharie’s (Abbie Mills) exit.

It seems to have been set up that Ichabod will go and join this new organization set up by Washington. To have Donald Trump running for president—that’s weird! That’s just weird. And I think if we are going to be shooting in Washington we shouldn’t hide from the fact that there has to be some dark underground force that is making this surreal turn of events happen.

Reed portrayed the character of Betsy Ross who happens to be Ichabod Crane’s former girlfriend.
